Susie Powell is our Personal Lines Manager.  She has been with Buckley & Company since 1985 with experience prior to that with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.  She is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter having earned that designation in 1992 and is an active member in the Bluegrass Association of Insurance Women.  Susie specializes in writing new business, handling large accounts and supervising the Personal Lines employees and workflows.

Sarah States MBA, KACSR | Customer Service Agent

Sarah States has been a member of our Buckley & Company Personal Lines team since May of 2004.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance from Eastern Kentucky University in May 2002 and received her Masters Degree in Business Administration in May 2005.  Sarah obtained her KACSR designation through study and exams to become a Kentucky Accredited Customer Service Representative in October 2005.  In addition, she is an active member in the Bluegrass Association of Insurance Women (BGAIW) and became the 2007-2008 recipient of their Rookie of the Year Award for her outstanding achievements in the insurance industry and promotion of the organization.

Sarah’s computer skills are excellent, which is an important key to providing fast and efficient service in today’s highly automated insurance industry.  She has a positive, cheerful attitude and strong personal commitment to serving her customers as she truly cares about her clients. Shedara Gibson, CISR | Customer Service Agent

Shedara Gibson joined the Buckley & Company team in 2006.  She has been in Personal Lines Insurance since 2002 when she began her career specializing in Marine Insurance.  She is a member of Young Insurance Professionals of Kentucky where she continues to enhance her insurance knowledge and remain informed in all matters and aspects of the industry.  She is also active in the Bluegrass Chapter of Insurance Women and won the state Communicate with Confidence Speak Off in 2007.  She has earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation.
